Packaging: This sturdy milky-white tall plastic container is simple yet luxurious feeling; its square base and round top make it unique. The graphics are tastefully simple, and the disc top dispenser makes the conditioner easy to use. I think all products should have this type of dispenser if it works!
Product Claims: We’ve worked with an upscale boutique to bring you this salon-quality conditioner that will rejuvenate your hair with its refreshing tingle. A blend of certified organic botanicals including peppermint and tea tree work together to moisturize and clarify your hair while alleviating dry scalp. Our product contains no laurel/laureth sulfates and is suitable for all hair types.
Application and Performance: This creamy formula works through wet hair easily and smells deliciously refreshing. I always massage conditioner through my hair and then pin it up with a clip for several minutes before rinsing it out. The conditioner doesn’t weigh down your hair and always rinses out very easily; it doesn’t necessarily make your hair feel super duper silky after rinsing, but I don’t mind that at all. I find that this product helps with my volume especially after blow drying.

Natural/Organic?: For the most part, yes. The big question mark is the sodium hydroxymethylgycinate, which is a hair conditioning agent and a preservative, and a sodium salt of chemically modified amino acid glycine. There are some who say that this ingredient in larger quantities can cause skin irritation or can make your eyes burn and recommend that people with sensitive skin stay away from this ingredient. However, there aren’t conclusive studies on this ingredient.
Cruelty Free: Yes!
Overall Review: I heart this conditioner. I picked this up on a whim, and was so happy to see it was $3.99, especially considering I’d just spent nearly double that amount on Nature’s Gate tea tree shampoo. When they say that they worked with an upscale boutique, I believe them! This conditioner feels very luxurious and fancy. On Amazon.com, reviews say that this is very similar to other tea tree designer conditioners (specifically Giovanni’s) at less than half the price. I really like this conditioner so far, and I imagine I’ll be using this for quite a while. The price point is amazing and so are the ingredients. I’d really love to splurge on other organic haircare products, but this is more realistic for me, and I can walk across the street to pick it up! :)
I have pretty long, straight hair that can fall limp easily, but this product doesn’t weigh down my hair, and it still makes it feel healthy at the same time. Oh, and did I mention that it smells heavenly?? The peppermint, tea tree and eucalyptus combine to make a minty, invigorating, fresh and clean scent. Yum.
